I was a wreck when my doctor told me I needed to go dairy-free in October. How could I give up some of my favorite foods? As it turns out, I’ve found even better versions of three of my loves – I’m hooked on a new vegan vanilla protein powder for my daily green smoothies; found even better tasting dark chocolate (and enjoyed the trial and error); and been wowed by nice cream made with almond milk.
