Mental Health Month : [Humor]
As I mentioned a few days ago, the focus of this year’s Mental Health Month is on taking care of both your physical and mental health, and how the two are very much connected. This week, let’s talk about humor.
I’ve carried this picture of myself and my husband laughing our butts off in my wallet for 16 years! I love how it captured a super fun night with friends. It always takes me back when I look at it, and makes me laugh all over again. 🤣🤣.
HOW LAUGHTER CAN HELP YOU FEEL BETTER:
- It lowers the levels of your stress hormones.
- It stimulates your heart, lungs, and muscles.
- Your body releases endorphins
- .It can improve your mood, and relieve anxiety
Hmmm… I think it may be time to re-watch Talladega Nights…
