When bad things happen in our lives, which they inevitably will for all of us, it’s easy to wonder, “Why is this happening to me?”
And that’s okay.
It’s absolutely okay to feel your feelings, sit with the pain, process what happened.
Rest, feel sorry for yourself, whatever you need to do.
Then when things are no longer raw and you’re able… ask yourself what the situation is teaching you.
There’s usually a lesson, something to learn from life’s setbacks and tragedies. We are all students on this journey.
