#TBThursday to 5 years ago today with my Ohio girls! Thank you for sending this pic today, Holly!
Blown away by my dear friend who made these yummy works of art for one of her customers! Her Hello, Sugar! bakery biz is in NW Florida, if you’re over there and need some of her deliciousness. Love you, Rosie! ️️😀
I might be mesmerized by my new piece of art by my super talented friend, Kate Morgan. There’s just something magical about it, and I can’t stop staring at it on my wall.
Had a long chat with this amazing human today, Kate Morgan, who also happens to be a super talented artist. Connection is so important for mental health, and our call was just what I needed. ️
Had a long talk with my dear friend, Kathleen… AKA my “twin.” ♀️ (Why don’t we FaceTime more??!)
Fun Fact: when we both worked as reporters at the same TV station a thousand years ago, people would get us mixed up. So… sometimes we’d mess with them and pretend to be each other. I mean, we don’t really look alike (except for the brown skin and hair), so it just turned into our little joke. Love you so much, my “twin.” ️
MentalHealthMonth : [Social Connections]⠀
Every time we move to a new place (which we have done several times), I really struggle with leaving close friends and family behind and starting over. Maui has been extra challenging for me, especially because I mainly work from home, which can be isolating. I’m so grateful for new friends, and have been trying to connect with more people lately because I know how important it is for my mental health. ⠀
DID YOU KNOW? Loneliness is bad for your health. In fact, it can shorten your lifespan the same as smoking 15 cigarettes a day does, and is more dangerous to your health than obesity.⠀
