Mental health phases of the pandemic

#MentalHealthMondayEvery week into this pandemic feels like another beginning of a new phase to me. Not necessarily a cut and dry phase... more like what you feel after experiencing trauma and grief - you have various feelings that will continue to come and go in waves over time.I was able to manage my anxiety better last week, and felt myself surrender to the situation and the changes it brought. But I still felt paralyzed and overwhelmed about how to move forward after losing significant income, etc. This week, I see more clearly, at least today I do. I can envision the beginning of a new plan, and have a little more hope, a little more confidence, a little more faith. If I were to use 3 emojis to describe my current feelings, they would be these: 🏽🏽How about you? Which 3 emojis best sum up how you’re feeling today? Drop them in the comments below! 🏽Remember, whatever you’re feeling during this time is normal. But... if you're really struggling with your mental health, please get help: My partner, @mentalhealthamerica has a Crisis Text Line with Crisis Counselors ready to help you cope. Text MHA to 741741. MHA also has a new website with lots of resources and information to help during the pandemic. Just click on the link in my bio and go to the "Mental Health America COVID-19 Support" button.Take good care. xx#ichoosebeauty #coronaviruspandemic #coronaviruschallenge #coronapandemic #pandemic2020 #feelyourfeelings #anxietysupport #anxietymanagement #anxietyisreal #lookforthelight #healingjourney #healingtools #healingyourself #healingfromwithin #healingpower #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealthisimportant #mentalhealthtips #mentalhealthhelp #mentalhealthjourney #mentalhealthcare #mentalhealthadvice #mentalhealthisreal #mentalhealthcommunity #mentalwellness #mentalhealthishealth
